   The last picture is a collaborative effort by Ron Ball (the Ark) and Johanna Witt (the animals).   
   Johanna is a painter in watercolours and carves in wood. She also gives lessons from her studio. Johanna Wit’s art connection extends back to a fine art diploma she earned in her native Rotterdam. She creates watercolours, oils and woodcarvings, such as the ones exhibited at the Walter’s Falls Show. Johanna gives woodcarving classes in fall and spring. During the winter months a group of local artists come together to draw and paint in her studio. Johanna and her husband collaborate on designing and producing distinctive wooden puzzles for the Escarpment Studio Tour on Thanksgiving weekend.
